Team Profiles and Processes

The BayAreaHome4Me Team currently counts over twenty years of combined experience in Bay Area Residential Real Estate.  Our team members began their careers working in real estate finance and have seen the local market in what seems to be every phase possible, from feeding frenzy to famine.  Having a local guide is a strategy employed for ages, and it’s because of the capricious nature of the Bay Area real estate’s “micro-markets” that using a guide is as wise today as it ever was. 

Much like the weather ”micro-climates” of the Bay Area, the many areas people call home around here have their own characteristics in the real estate market.  It’s an organic entity that ebbs and flows, shifts and erupts, and it takes pretty regular observations to recognize how it’s behaving. 

 

A Process For Success:

Our team believes in employing a strategic process for both buying and selling.  And for the most part it’s rooted in one singular thing: our interview of you.  Specifically, we are very aware that everything hinges upon your aspiration in your real estate transaction.  It’s our process to begin with listening to you.  We, of course, will have a fairly standard set of questions to make up the framework of what is being sought.  But, frankly, it’s the details that are revealed in our interview of you that give us the most useful clues in how to best serve you.  And that’s what separates us from the rest. 

Taking the transaction of the purchase of a new home as an example, our interview helps us fill in the gaps beyond the customary criteria of location, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and price range.  Our process helps us to get a feel for who you are and what specific home characteristics are going to meet or exceed your hopes and aspirations for  a home in the Bay Area.  From details for gardeners such as good southwestern exposure for the best sunlight to how much or how little property renovation really suits your lifestyle, we ask you to describe to us in detail what you want. 

When we can come to you and say we’ve found a home that meets 8 out of 10 of your requirements we know it’s a compromise.  The question is whether these two points are where compromise is acceptable or not.  Finding a property won’t always be 10 out of 10, but you will discover for yourself how we’ve come to know what you want— simply because we took the time to listen to you for the significant details that get us as close to a perfect 10 as we possibly can. 

We think you’ll find without exception that we take this detailed approach consistently with both purchasing your new homes and selling your current home.  Bottom line is that it works!
